BNP official answer to immigrants: SINK EM

I'ts been a while, but I had to post this video, a branded BNP video, of Nick Griffin telling the BBC that the solution to immigration is to start sinking the boats that are bringing them over,

man, I'm actually glad he said that, because not that they were, but there is no way they can be taken seriously as a political party when the leader goes on about sinking boats full of people who are seeking asylum from their own countries.

52nd Ghanaian Independance Celebration

I know im a bit late, but i went to the 52nd Ghanaian independance celebration in wembley on saturday, with Sway, Richard Blackwood and Kat, Eddie Kadi, YolanDa Brown, Gracious K, Tribal man and more that i cant think of... It was a good look, apart from the dogs they were using for security- hyping them up and using fear t0o keep the queue in check- they may as well have been packing Ak's the way they were going on.

apart from that it was sick though, check out Sway's Black Stars video remix of Bashy's Black Boys...

Cowboy Tactics

Just got this facebook message through, this event is going to be sick and it's tonight, 7pm at the Rhythm Factory near Aldgate...

"...and so the curtain rises

Cowboy Tactics:101 - Israel/Palestine - From the River to the Sea...

This is the final mailout to remind you that tomorrow is the launch for CT:101...it's been emotional, we've crossed nations, brought back stories, found new friends and enlightened fresh minds...and that's even before the first ever night...

You've seen the words, you've heard facts - but there's more to these stories than ink on paper, and the rhetoric of television pundits...

We're bringing you testimony - we're bringing you those who bore true witness, who will bring flesh and blood to the headlines that wash around in your mind as you turn the channel over from the news to 'Home & Away'...

But we also bring you music, light and positivity - there is a way, for resistance begins at home...

We will break down the walls of bigotry, we will demand justice for all those wronged by war, and we'll have smiles in our hearts as we do it, and the open palm of friendship and diplomacy extended to all who would take it....

Namaste, Salaam, Shalom, Peace

Take Aim... at climate change

"why should i care whats going there/why does ice and wildlife mean to my life" she asks
"See thats the catch,, its not all that obvious but changes in the north and south is gonna have an affect on all of us" the rapper replied.

This reminds me of the Black Eyed Peas song 'where is the love?' when it first come out- As annoying as it eventually became it got the message out to a mass audience that this world was, and still is in a messed up state. This time however it is climate change that is in the firing line- a subject that by large hasn't been tackled by the Hip Hoppers of this world yet.

But as actions by Direct Action groups Plane Stupid and Climate Rush will suggest, it is one of the main problems in the world today.
The eradiication of poverty in this world is insignificant if Climate Change is not taken seriously, because there wont be a Third world to worry about, there wont be any world!

Check out these sites and make up your own minds...

Killer Coke

It's hard to imagine how we can be influencing a situation such as this in Columbia, but I drink Coke, often without even thinking about it, my favourite drink is served with Coke, from a young age it has been ingrained into my routine.
But that usage is serving a company that is up to madness like this in Columbia. It doesn't stop there though,
India have been hit by Coke in the past, along with several other developing countries,

I also found this picture recently

CocaCola loved off the Nazis! whether it be advertising in Nazi propoganda, helping to fund the Nazi party or even inventing a nice new drink for them, in the form of FANTA. Thats right Fanta was made for the Nazis, what does that tell you about Coca Cola? its not the chreatest thing to have lurking around in your history.

check out www.killercoke.org for information about the situation in Columbia

cows with guns

It's a story and a song that sounds a bit stupid, but im sure theres a deeper meaning here, we're talking about the most passive of all animals- the cow rising up and fighting for their "Bovine Freedom"

Alright its tongue in cheek, but you can see a link between the institutional fuckery that a cow recieves, as a source of profit to "the Man" in this case McD's and BK and the same exploitation people recieve, in terms of the third world by the same type of multinational company. When you think about it, this whole exploitation thing which is pretty ingrained in our world can turn the most peaceful of cultures, or in this case creatures, causing conflict on a global scale. Or is that too deep?

One for all you football fans...

Talking of Donuts, I found this picture on an Arsenal football Blog, I had to look twice, as I wouldnt put this past the man who once posed for this picture:

Those of you who caught Rio Ferdinand plying his trade as a poor mans version of the little handed legend Jeremy Beadle on Sky TV's 'You got Merked!' will appreciate why Rio is generally seen as a bit of a tit,

just in case however heres a clip of the show... Rio merks 'wazza' or Wayne Rooney if you don't know him personally, its not every day you see one tit taking the mickey out of another slightly bigger tit, so appreciate it.

Donuts

Whats wrong with the world?
well whats wrong with New Zealand? These two donuts were smart enough to outwit the courtroom they escaped from. Unfortunately they must have used all of their brain power in that manouver because they just couldnt negotiate the pole that followed,

live and learn guys, live and learn.

MC Boris in the building YO

The Boris Johnson rap, says it all really.

The only way this video could have been funnier is if they got the bumbling baffoon to rap it himself, although the satirical version and his own version would probably be very similar, because this viseo sums up boris in a nutshell; his upper class right wing views, his hatred for that 'commie' livingston, the odd reference to thatcher and of course, every tramps nightmare the public transport drinking ban.

This video was inevitable in a sense, Boris Johnson was a joke before he became London Mayor, its nice in a way, the general public still have someone to laugh at, what with Mr Bush out of the limelight.

"Bombaclat bendybus rudeboy" is probably the best use of bendybus in a sentance

"Congestion charge parking tickets tube fares council tax, ahh it gets you down."

Dr Congo needs you

Heres a video of an article that I wrote for CtrlAltShift called 'Congo Crisis'. It is so important to see whats happening to these people in the context of the UK, because hearing about rape, displacement, poverty and corruption is all to easy to palm off when its in a developing country, but these people being affected by it are just like you, me or anyone else that matter... the difference being we are lucky enough to be in the west of the world.

Nasty Stuff

Stuff. Its crazy to think that every one bin bag of recycling you do there has been 70 bin bags worth of waste to make it, sort of makes you feel a bit guilty for the consumer culture that we live in but the real question is how far can you take this consumerism idea? We all want to do our bit these days but you cant go an hour of the day without contributing to the downfall of the planet. A hopeless task in a way, and when you consider the amount of waste that is created around you it can make your head spin, Awareness is the key, know what you're doing but also know that its the big corporations that have set you up in this cycle and they are making alot of money from it.

Bush or Chimp

On the 20th January we come to the end of an era, the Bush Administration been one of the biggest jokes that have come out of politics since Clinton got sucked off by that ugly bird, rivalled only by the one and only Boris Johnson taking over London. But while Bush may have gone, his chimp like face will live on with us forever, in the form of bushorchimp.com.

The Congo

On a recent trip to The DrC with magazine CtrlAltShift, thats the Democratic republic of Congo in case it hasn't been spattered over the news enough recently, I came across this boy, he must be under 5, but i was shocked when he casually picked up this piece of rope, attached to a huge bull and started tugging it about. Now ok, some people have pointed out that the bull wasn't having the best of times so animal lovers look away but it's an incite into the completely different way of life out there, i.e your never too young to tug around a bull, you've got to farm, cos you've got to eat.

Visit www.ctrlaltshift.co.uk for more info on our recent trip to
The DrC.

-10 Its colder than The Antarctic!

What is all this about? I know its been cold over these past couple of days, but nothings going to make me feel colder lying in my bed tonight with my dodgy heating than knowing that Britain is currently clocking in colder than the coldest Antarctica.

Granted londons probably a bit warmer than other cities, with all that pollution locking the the last glimses of warmth in so Bristol, Newcastle, Sheffield, Glasgow and Coldest of all Farnborough your pain is felt.

And just to clarify the third eye business... The third eye can represent many things, like knowledge and enlightenment. It is also spoken of as the gate that leads within to inner realms of Higher conciousness and is represented in many different religeons and ideals,
but I cant even pretend I know enough about it in that respect, that was ripped off wikipedia.
It sort of fits though
